The school administration is very good at marketing a teaching philosophy, but then do not display the character traits they sell as the cornerstone of their curriculum. They only support the whole child, when the students fit into their mold of the average student, or their mold of a special needs child. Slowly, over the 6 years we have been here, their true colors and true thinking has sadly made itself known, at the expense of the children. I used to wonder why their teacher turnover rate was so high and was fed the narrative that the teachers did not fit or agree with the CSA teaching philosophies. I realize now, that most likely these teachers had integrity and values, and were unwilling to bend to the unhealthy and unhelpful attitudes of administration. Lead Administration have lied numerous times, and broke the law, and claimed things were never said or done that were. I didn''t know that they lacked the integrity they sell, so I never put anything in writing and had no proof to say otherwise. That was a failure on my part, and I strongly suggest if you do choose to send your child to this school, send an email after every discussion so there is a paper trail in writing with any and all concerns you have regarding your child. I would be especially careful if you think your child will ever need extra support in the classroom, or you''ll have to go through the IEP process. They do not blink an eye at breaking the law, or lying through their teeth and manipulating the situation, so that your child doesn''t get the support they need. They will not treat you as a team member and anything they say will trump your voice every time. It is of my opinion that they do this purposely, because they hope you give up advocating for your child due to it being exhausting and truth not being in the equation, so they don''t want to have to support your child in the way that they need. I am so ashamed of the team and highly disappointed. Beware!
