School Reviews

This school has proven to be a beacon of light in Henry county. The quality of academis that my child has received are dynamic. The teachers go the extra mile to make parent contact. To be specific, Ms. Heusal a wonderful teacher of Chemistry would call and advise me of my daughters progress. Further the music program is beyond reproach. Where can you child go to public school and experience a choral teacher with a terminal degree who actually helps the kids pass high school. The ROTC program is the best in the nation. Major Beavers and her team take care and time to really help the kids understand all of the required elements. The facilities are clean. I am a fan of DHS! The teachers not only work by day but also by night and afterschool. My child is happy there!

The climate in this school reflects the penial system with tough rules and regulations. Parents are not welcomed and the administration lacks true interest in the students overall performance. Facilities are nice. I would not recommend this school!!!!!
