I can't speak to the quality of the academic program because I was in the professional sewing program (which I thought was very good). I found the administration incompetent and out-of-touch with low income people. They were unable to understand the financial burden of just trying live on what one has coming in and not having money to buy needed supplies for school. Or buying needed supplies for school as I did and not having money to live on. I would not trust your counsilor to make sure you have money from your grant to take care of all the things you need for school. They have programs where you can get a grant for the classes but not the needed materials for the classes. I had to withdraw or fail because I did not have materials for my classes. Now I have to pay back the grant because the counsilor keep telling me he would "see what he can do" for the materials. If you hear that, don't walk but run out as fast as you can. I'm not sure if it's a scam or not but I am going to report it to the Colorado Attorney General's office. I had a grant to attend CCD and I declined it. I am so sorry I did.
