- The High School for Violin and Dance is a small school that offers every student classes in string orchestra and dance. No prior experience is necessary. Music students study violin, bass, cello or viola. Dance students sample modern, jazz, tap, hip hop and ballet. We are a close-knit community of learners where everyone gets to know everyone else. Teachers know their students, involve their parents and care-givers, and want only the best for everyone in our community. We also have classes in philosophy and computer science. After school activities include sports, debate and robotics.
- Preparing students for college or the work place is our primary goal. We accomplish this by getting to know the dreams and aspirations of our students and helping them achieve them. We are more than teachers at High School for Violin and Dance - we are coaches, mentors, leaders and friends. Come for a visit to see the difference.
