Actually, I am the grandmother, but that was not a selective. There is BLATANT bullying and mean spiritedness going on in this school district. Racial under tones are being thrown around and NOTHING is being done about it.It seems like the administration doesn't want to step on some parental toes. Surely the administration knows that getting this ongoing bullying stopped can be presented to different venues of the community and the local law enforcement. In this age of young teens being singled out, we all know how detrimental actions can be to their well being. Administration CAN NOT put the student in the back of their minds, Get ALL parents and the students involved together and resolve the bullying!! One day more is not the answer.Do your job,if you are truly into your profession for the student!!! They are all precious individuals.

I feel that Key Largo elementary school kindergarden teacher only focuses on kids who speak Spanish. My granddaughter went to another school the first half of the year and was doing good, now after 4 months of being here the teacher says she is behind! The teacher says her previous school was terrible, & this is a highly rated school. She does not want to talk to the grandparents, only the parents! You would think that a "Highly Rated School" would appreciate concerned grandparents be involved in there grandchildrens future. I have had 5 kids who have gone to school and none of the teachers have tried to blame there previous teacher. She needs to take responsibility for her own failure to teach and not blame others. We are pulling our grandchild out of this school & she won't be there next year because, we feel that they discriminated there and just make excuses. Also my grandchild has learned a lot of Spanish, which is not part of the schools curriculum, and most words are bad. When the kids go outside they do not pay attention to them, they get bullied and hurt. It was a mistake coming to this school & we should have gone further south . I would not recommend this school at all, it needs a lot of work.
