School Reviews

Lake Washington High School is a pretty good public school. Most of the students are nice and some teachers are nice. The only problem I have with this school is the curriculum and the teachers. Some teachers care about the students well-being and having them be successful in the class, but a lot of them them don't care wether a student does good in a class. For example: in my geometry class, more than half the class fails all the tests, but instead of trying to help us and have us understand what the heck we're doing he "goes over it" in like 20 min. and tries to teach us something else. I have been failing the whole year! So my friend is tutoring me and when she was explaining something that I was having a really hard time on she said it in such a way that I actually understood it! She knew that I'm not the quickest learner and I really need to be shown how to do something and then I have to try it for me to really get it. I just think that my geometry teacher isn't patient enough to actually help, which is just hindering our GPA and math grades. I think that this school is good except for the math program. I recomend this school to students who are already very good at math, they won't have as hard of a time as the rest on the students.
