- Nestled in the heart of Mt. Pleasant, Lucy Garrett Beckham High School is a new modern building accommodating 1,500 students in a 242,000 sq ft building on 44.1 acres. Beckham is a comprehensive 9-12 grade high school focused on teaching in a 21st century learning environment:
- A modern advisory that focuses on relationships and building student independence (CREW)
- Virtual and blended learning environments for students
- One to one technology (student issued Chromebook)
- Modified block schedule with Independent Learning Time (ILT) and One Lunch
- Joint emphasis on character and academics (FOCUS)
