This is a wonderful school with teachers and staff who are focused on the students. The quality of the math program is exeplified by the reputation the sixth grades have both in scores and in competitions. Compared to the other schools in the area, the students are better readers, more articulate in their conversations and written works. You can find dedicated music, band, and art teachers who encourge their students to express themselves while giving instruction along the way. The athletic programs are led by parents who give of their time and skills and produce great feeders for the high school. The facilities are well-kept and full of encouraging and student-made decor. The PTO is active and works hard to better the students' school lives. This is truly a school working for children.
