My child was horribly bullied in this school. The teacher and assistant principal knew this child was bullied, yet nothing and mean NOTHING was done to reprimand this child. The only thing they offered was to move my child from his favorite teachers' room to separate the children. Looks to me that the innocent child was the one being punished!

I find that the previous two comments are out of date. The new administration have an open door policy, and listen to all parents concerns. It is important as a parent to communicate with the school and to let them know when there are concerns. The variety of experiences my 6th grader is receiving are more than I could have expected and the teachers are amazing. They are responsive and caring. It is clear that this school is working hard to provide their students with a great education. Keep up the good work!

I find that I agree with this first review in its entirety --- and this is 2016-2017. I have a child at Parkside. My child has now been there two years. Grades have dropped drastically and there is bullying to deal with in the school and on the bus. I feel that I have to look into other resources to get this resolved. And at this stage, I am just glad that this is his last year in this school.

As a military member my kids have been in several schools across the country. This is by far the worst one they have attended. The teachers and coaches regularly practice a retaliation policy if parents or students rock the boat and the administration is very hostile to parental involvement in extracurricular activities. It is a sad school that retaliates against a student for the parent discussing proper adult supervision (an adult in the room during practices) when that lack of supervision is brought to the administration. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL
