This school is AMAZING! All the teachers are very supportive! I definitely feel safe at this school. Through the years they have really improved security! Also Our Music program is incredible! We also have many diverse clubs and sports! One of them for eight grade is WEB! A leadership program which has encouraged me to always be my best! And in my opinion the school activities, such as dances, are quite fun! I`ve made many momerable moments there and will never regret my time here! But, while we are a fun school we also are big academics! We have this College degree system! Each degree opens you up to different rewards (when getting a PHD you unlock everything including a special end of the year trip! Trust me you don`t want to miss it!) We had heard a lot of bad things about Parsons, so we put our daughter into a different, very well-regarded school for 6th grade. While that school was great academically, she just didn't really like it. After giving it a try for a semester, we let her transfer to Parsons with all of her friends. She loves it! The school has gotten much better the past couple years with a new principal and a lot of new programs. There is secure fencing around the school and my daughter said she feels safe there. She loves the fact that there is a real library (her former school did not have one) and she really likes all her teachers. The office staff is so nice and helpful. I am so happy we transferred her to Parsons. I should note that my daughter is in honors, so I can't comment on the regular classes. She loves her honors teachers, though.

I am very disappointed in the LACK of security on this campus. Not only are there kids calling others names based on their race, but there are fights and childrens' lives being threatened. When complaints are made, what is being done to protect my child? I pick my child up every day. I have yet to see any staff outside making sure our children are safe. This is a serious problem and needs to be addressed NOW not later.
