School Reviews

Solanco School District provides a very poor quality education to its students. I am a former student who went on to study at a top private college. I found that despite being at the top of my class at Solanco, I was not sufficiently prepared for the quality of work expected from me at the start of college. It was a huge personal effort for me to catch up with my college peers, who had mostly attended elite private schools. Please do your children a favor and send them to another school. It will be money well spent. I am happy I went to Solanco only because I see it as a challenge overcome in my life.

For a state public school, Solanco provides a lot for its students. They have a small budget that they make go a long way. The music and arts program is one of the best and largest in the region. They provide multiple AP courses and a lot of interesting electives. There are a wide variety of sports available and a lot of active clubs. The high school was renovated in the late 1990s and is in great shape. If I were to end up in the area, I would have no qualms sending my children to Solanco.
