i AM A 1949 GRADUATE...YES, 1949. VERBENA WAS AN EXCELLENT SCHOOL THEN, AS I SEE IT STILL IS, AND MY TIME AT VERBENA MADE COLLEGE SO EASY FOR ME. OUR TEACHERS WERE SO VERY INTERESTED IN MAKING US WELL ROUNDED INDIVIDUALS, AS WELL AS EDUCATED IN THE BOOKS. I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO GO TO THE BEST SCHOOL IN ALABAMA.
