My daughter has excelled at West End. The teachers are great, and they are always available to help. The principal is very focused and expects only the best for the staff. Because of my daughter's fantastic teachers, she scored in the 96 percentile on the aptitude test which qualifies her participate in the GT program. We love West End Elementary!

Good school if you are from the area. Otherwise, you are an unwelcome outsider. Their claim to an open-door policy is lip-service. Parental involvement is implicitly discouraged via their thinly-veiled animosity towards them. The small handful of truly kind and welcoming teachers serve as stark contrast to the norm. If you are an outsider, you (and unfortunately your children) will pay for encroaching on their territory.
